This course has been designed to be relevant to the needs of employers in the fields of production, manufacturing engineering and management; students use computer-aided design software to produce engineering drawings that are suitable for conversion to solid models, and various methods of automated manufacture; students also study the types of system available and their capabilities in terms of the rapid introduction of products to a competitive marketplace.
