The course is approved by the General Dental Counciland enable students to carry out orthodontic treatment prescribedand supervised by an orthodontist; there is an initial 4-weekinduction programme which addresses the core knowledgerequirements supported via an additional 12 study days; theinduction programme and 12 study days are delivered withinthe College’s clinical skills room; workplace training takes place in an approved orthodontic practice, clinic or hospital orthodontic setting.
