This course develops the skills, knowledge and attitudes requiredto promote and support the learning needs of children andadults within an educational setting; students become familiarwith the techniques of learning and teaching while developingawareness, sensitivity and empathy to work with clients withadditional support needs and/or disabilities within both thestatutory and voluntary sectors of the job market; part of thecourse entails a placement in a school or appropriate setting.
