The course provides underpinning knowledge required for many tasks undertaken by surveying technicians, including preparation of drawings, specification writing, land surveying, surveying historic buildings, maintenance schedules, etc; promotes core and transferable skills important for future employment in the construction industry; develops competencies within a vocational context and improves generic skills in communication, presentation of technical information, and working with others.
