Based at the Loughton Campus, this practice-led professionally-oriented programme is designed for theatre directors; programme uses diverse teaching and learning strategies such as workshops and master classes to prepare directors for their encounter with a complex and changing professional environment; explores text, actor-director relationships, leadership of artistic collaborators and methods of rehearsal; programme takes a multicultural and international perspective that is reflected in the curriculum and in the student cohort; course has a strong international focus with options to study abroad in the Far-East and with the GITIS Academy in Moscow; teaching is by experienced directors and professional practitioners.
