The course is carefully structured to give a broad foundation of knowledge suitable for those students who wish to develop careers in either 3-dimensional software development or as professional practitioners such as: Industrial designer and engineers; who use digital tools to manipulate and create shapes; students gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of digital shape representation together with practical experience of software development and a range of digital hardware for capturing, or generating, physical geometry; they also obtain an understanding of fundamental business and management issues; the course is run jointly with Edinburgh College of Art.
