This course aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to run a business including the strategic and financial decisions that must be taken and the marketing and personnel issues involved; students gain practical experience of setting up and running their own business through group exercises and business simulation games; there is also the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills through two enterprise placements and to explore the importance of developing enterprises which aim to achieve social as well as financial objectives.
