Students are initially equipped with the foundation knowledge of animal health, physiology, behaviour and the tools to study successfully; in the 2nd and 3rd years students explore and develop their ability to apply this knowledge with the addition of business management; the combination of theory and practical teaching allows opportunities to develop an excellent understanding of zoological science and the industry; students study particular animals groups in depth with specific modules in primate management, reptiles/amphibians, and aquatics.
