The course aims to improve the understanding and knowledge of teachers working with pupils who have SEN and raise awareness of the factors involved in developing an inclusive school; it develops understanding of the 4 categories of SEN as described in the SEN Code of Practice for Wales (2002) and assists students in developing professional responses to a diverse range of individual learning needs.
