This course combines the certificate and diploma in lifelong learning (CTTLS and DTTLS) with an opportunity to gain a foundation degree in lifelong learning; the qualifications do not automatically confer qualified teacher status; existing teachers have the opportunity to gain QTLS status through professional recognition of their qualifications and experience; the broad aim of the programme is to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of teachers in the lifelong learning sector; the 1st year of the programme aims to enable learners to become effective, critical and professional teachers and trainers for the lifelong Learning sector; the 2nd year aims to provide a broad, critical understanding with a strong emphasis on the professional reflection for individual development.

Студенческий городок North Holmes расположен в центре города Кентербери. В городе находится железнодорожные и автовокзалы; через него пролегают дороги в направлении Лондона и портов. Другие студенческие городки: Medway Campus, Broadstairs Campus, Salomons и Folkestone, которым Университет владеет совместно с университетом Greenwich.
