The Erasmus Mundus Master Course in Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management, is a two-year English taught international Master's programme. The programme is offered by a consortium of five recognised European universities. During the programme, students study in two or three different countries depending on the individual track of study. All participating universities have long-standing relations with the industry, public works administrations and research and education institutes. During the course students familiarise themselves with key issues involved in providing sustainable, environmentally friendly, legally and economically acceptable solutions to various problems in the CoMEM field. Studying in different European countries will enable students to meet and work with professionals from various backgrounds and to gather knowledge on a wide range of issues involved; they will also get a comprehensive EU perspective on CoMEM related issues. This will help students to develop a coherent and integrated approach that is applicable to a more global perspective as well. The last cohort with students will start in September 2017. Please visit the CoMEM website of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology for details and information about the programme and progress of the programme after 2019.

Delft is a compact, historic town between Rotterdam and The Hague in the province of Zuid-Holland. It forms part of the Randstad, the urban agglomeration in the west of the Netherlands and is the nation’s main educational and research centre. Today, Delft ranks as a high-tech location due to the abundance of technology-based institutions and organisations close to and often involved with the university.

Delft has a reputation for being a friendly city; bars and terraces along the canals and on the city squares, quirky shops, affordable restaurants and great cinemas. It is easy to find your way around as everything is close together. Delft is bursting with activity from spring right through to autumn, including music festivals and street theatre.
