Digital photography is the future for professional photographers; students are taught image manipulation and digital printing to a high level; students experience many different areas of photography and are also able to specialise in areas of particular interest; students are provided with the practical and academic training required to work in the photographic industry; they learn skills in practical digital photography; supported by contextual; professional and business studies; all of which underpin the practical and technical learning; both digital and silver based methods are explored hand in hand; with learning developed through seminars; demonstrations and technical workshops; personal and professional development is monitored with individual tutorials throughout the year; students are actively encouraged to take part in competitions and exhibitions and to assemble a high quality contemporary portfolio of work.
