Year 1: General course intended to be one of breadth of study; includes core drawing studies; printmaking; painting; sculpture; tapestry; visual and cultural studies; 3 design subjects may be selected including 1 arts specialist subject and 1 from graphic design, illustration, film/television, photography, animation. Year 2: Variety of surface design projects; communication of ideas; design research. Year 3: Development of personal interests; practical work and experimentation with dyes, fabrics and various printing methods; studio placement; foreign visit. Year 4: Design practice and printing techniques; individual portfolio; collaborative project; industrial project; CAD.
