The course aims to develop all the skills required to analyse poetry, prose, drama and the English language and how to adapt the written word for film; the film studies modules explore both the history of film and the contemporary issues that face the worldwide film industry; the course covers film analysis, creative writing and drama, exploring literature from the Middle Ages to the modern day and analyses the historical and global significance of film and the film industry; it also includes professional work placements.
