Year 1: a series of practical exercises increasing in length and complexity isolating and focusing on the particular techniques and content of a specific documentary genre; several short documentaries are made; year 2 includes: a graduation film; development of a further professional project; visits to film festivals, screenings of work to broadcasters, independent producers and other relevant institutions; seminars and workshops dealing with the commissioning process, ethical practices, legal requirements, distribution potential and national and international finance.
