Вступительные требования

Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Proof of Bachelor's degree must be provided upon acceptance to the program. GRE: The average GRE score of successful applicants is: V156, Q166 TOEFL: A minimum score of 90 is required. Minimum TOEFL requirements for international applicants are 600 (paper), 250 (computer), and 90 (IBT). IELTS: For students who choose to take the IELTS in lieu of the TOEFL, the minimum score is 7.

Расположение

Houston has two airports: William P. Hobby (HOU), 11 miles to the south of campus and George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), 24 miles to the north. Intercontinental is a hub of global travel. Hobby is a hub for regional, domestic travel. Together they offer 1,000 flights a day in and out of Houston.


Most major rental car companies have locations at both airports. SuperShuttle and taxis provide ground transportation services from both airports.


The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, (METRO) provides bus and rail service from destinations around Houston. There is a METRORail stop across the street from the main entrance of the Rice campus. The rail line travels up and down Main Street, serving downtown, the Texas Medical Center and Reliant Park.
