Course deals with both the underlying causes of challenging behaviour and also some of the strategies used to deal with it; it links theoretical explanations with practical examples and asks participants to draw on their own experiences for reflection; it is a useful introduction to the issue of challenging behaviour for serving teachers and those engaged in the support of learning activities.
