School-based course includes 24 weeks in 2 schools; students acquire knowledge about key concepts in teaching and learning information and communication technology as well as the current formal arrangements for the assessment of information and communication technology within the context of the National Curriculum at key stages 3, 4 and post-16; successful completion of this course leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with PGCE, subject to satisfactory performance in skills tests.
