There are parties, plays you can catch, a movie theatre on campus, there are nature trails to walk, gyms to work out in, restaurants, shopping, games to watch, and events that are programmed by various organizations on campus that are either free or very inexpensive to attend. For example, fall harvest festivals, concerts, movie screenings, art exhibitions, and so many more. You will never be bored at Rutgers if you keep your eyes peeled for fun events that are happening on campus.

In average, 87% of first-year students and 42% of all undergraduates live in college housing.
About 82% of bachelors get job straight after graduation. Among top hiring employers are Rutgers, Johnson & Johnson, Deloitte, Independent, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Rutgers University's four campuses are in the culturally-diverse, redeveloping urban areas (Newark, Camden, and New Brunswick) with convenient access to New York City and Philadelphia by either automobile, Amtrak or New Jersey Transit. US News & World Report ranked Rutgers–Newark the most diverse university campus in the United States. Because the area of Rutgers' New Brunswick-Piscataway campus—which is composed of several constituent colleges and professional schools—is sprawled across six municipalities, the individual campuses are connected by an inter-campus bus system. The Rutgers bus system is the second largest bus service in New Jersey, and one of the largest in the country.
